Olympic Dreams

I have always thought that is would be so cool to be an Olympic Athlete. But I have never been that good at anything to be able to. It takes so much time and dedication that I knew there were other things in life I wanted to do and so maybe in another life I will do that. I was lucky to have the Olympics come to my hometown for the 2002 SLC Winter Olympics and I was young and foolish and what did I do....I fled. Yep, I went on vacation for 2 weeks. Looking back I really regret doing that. When am I ever going to be able to go to the Olympics? Maybe one day I will be able to go. Now this time I will have to pay even more because I am sure it won't be in my own backyard. I guess you live and learn. With the Olympics about to begin I am getting to excited. I love the opening and closing Ceremonies. You know what is funny is that in 2002 I actually watched the Olympics on tv...how funny is that? Anyway the excitement is building and I can't wait. I knew that when I saw Olympic Dreams by SuzyQ Scraps I had to scrap a page about my regret of not going.
